Welcome to Sunday Matinee!
Each month you will receive a movie recommendation plus a letter, movie review card with stickers for rating, recipe card, and a few surprises, all for the price of a really great coffee!
Each month you'll be sent a curated experience themed around a the movie of the month. December's film is The Holiday.
CURRENT TIMELINE:
To receive December's issue, you must sign up between October 26th and November 25th.
December's issue will be shipped during the first week of December.
The sign-up window is open until the 25th day of the month, and mail will be shipped in the first week of the month. Because we mail using stamps, you will not receive tracking information. You will receive an email confirmation when your order has shipped!
Mail club subscriptions will bill once per month, on the day in which you originally signed up.
Please note that international subscriptions are currently unavailable. We are working on making this available to you!

What is the theme of the mail club?
Cinema & journaling!
The club celebrates discovery, cozy rituals, and using physical media to review films. Our goal is to keep the joy of snail mail and analog hobbies alive.
Each month will center around the film recommendation of that month, and will include a recipe and a few surprises to create an experience curated to the vibe and feel of the film.
What does Sunday Matinee include?
Each issue of the Sunday Matinee Mail Club will include a letter introducing that month's film, a review card with star stickers, a recipe card, and a few surprises.
Surprises include art prints, cards, postcards, bookmarks, stickers, journaling and scrapbook goodies, games or crafts, and more!
Each member will also receive a bonus postcard print with their first issue!
We aim to curate an experience around the month's movie recommendation, so you can make a night (or day) out of it!
How much does Sunday Matinee Mail Club cost, and how does billing work?
Sunday Matinee Mail Club's pricing is as follows:
- Domestic (United States) subscriptions are $9 each month.
- International subscriptions are currently unavailable. We are working on making these available for you!
Shipping (via stamp) is INCLUDED in the price listed above.
Billing will occur once a month, on the day which you originally signed up.
All mail club sales are final.
When do I need to sign up to receive December's mail?
Sign-ups are until the 25th day of each month.
For example, to receive December's issue, you must be subscribed between October 26th and November 25th. If you sign up on November 26th, you will receive January's mail.
Sunday Matinee will be sent out in the first week of the month - for example, December's issue will be mailed out in the first week of December. You will receive a confirmation email once your letter has been mailed, but because we ship using stamps, you will not receive tracking information.
What if I missed the sign-up window but I still want to purchase December's issue?
Extra issues from each month will be listed on our website for one-time purchase under Archive Issues.
When will I receive my letter?
Sunday Matinee will be sent out in the first week of the month - for example, December's issue will be mailed out in the first week of December. Exact shipping days will be communicated with you via email and updated on our website.
You will receive a confirmation email once your letter has been mailed. Because we ship using stamps, you will not receive tracking information. It's part of the fun of snail mail!
Please allow up to 14 business days for Domestic (United States) mail once they have been dropped off with USPS.
Delivery times may vary because of location, weather, or other factors contributing to postal delays.
What if my mail arrived damaged, or got lost on its way to me?
If your mail arrived damaged:
Please reach out by emailing sundaymatineemail@gmail.com with your name & photos of the damage.
If you think your mail got lost:
If it has been over 14 business days (United States) and your mail still hasn't arrived, please email sundaymatineemail@gmail.com with your name and address.
If a letter was unable to be delivered, it will be returned to sender and it may still be on its way back to me. We will help you determine if it has been lost!
If we receive mail returned to sender, we will confirm your address and re-send it to you.
If you have not received your mail and it has not been returned to us, we will work out a solution!
I will get back to your email within a few days, and will be happy to assist you!
How do I cancel my subscription or change my address/billing/account information?
We understand you may need to cancel or update your customer information, and you can do so at any time!
To manage your membership:
- Log into your account
- Go to your orders page and locate your subscription order
- Select "manage subscription"
- Select "cancel subscription"

What countries does Sunday Matinee ship to?
Our mail club is currently open to United States subscriptions only.
We are working on expanding the list of countries we ship to & making international subscriptions available. If you have any questions, please feel free to get in contact with me!
